DIGITAL HUMIDITY SENSOR HYT 271 - a powerful allround talent
This newly developed, digitally calibrated sensor of the HYT series with integrated signal processing offers an outstanding long-term stability even under extreme environmental conditions, high humidity, dew formation or with chemical influences. The fully processed measured data for temperature and relative humidity are delivered over the I2C compatible interface as digital values. The module is precisely calibrated before delivery and no further adjustment is necessary by the user. The components are fully interchangeable. Both the linearity error, and the temperature drift are corrected “OnChip” through computation, because of which an outstanding accuracy is achieved over a wide range of application. In comparison to monolithic solutions, this new development offers crucial advantages: Quality and layer structure corresponds to the proven, capacitive model of the KFS series and offers the same outstanding characteristics by the use of same high performance polymer. The sensors are very robust - even in critical application areas. Because of this, they are suitable for ambient conditions with high humidity up to dew formation threshold, and also for very dry climate or for very hot areas of application. The plug-in connection pins are suitable for commercial plug sockets or can also be soldered. An ideal solution for meticulous commercial applications, high-quality handy measuring instruments as well as for a wide variety of industrial application areas.
